Location Hours

The desire for a new location originated from a lot of customers requesting us to open another Crepes Tea House closer to their house. People from Washington, North Carolina, and Virginia called multiple of times asking us to come and open the restaurant within their states. We noticed that many of our customers come from Westfield, North Connecticut, and other towns from the surrounding areas so we wanted to try to open something in that area. In a way, we wanted to escape from any city feel so that we can get closer to the country side. Visit us at “Crepes Tea House” in Southwick, and allow us to transport you to a world of flavors and relaxation.

Restaurant Locations

As you step into our warm and inviting space, the aroma of freshly brewed tea envelopes you, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort. The soft chatter of guests engaged in conversation adds to the cozy ambiance, making it the perfect place to unwind and indulge in delectable treats. We are not planning on opening any more locations in the near future nor are we planning to be a franchise, we would rather concentrate on the two existing locations that we have.

We want to push towards expanding our menu further and dive into the idea of healthier food and providing a large variety of beverages. We want to put all of our attention into the these two locations that we have and make it the best restaurant out there.

Our menu includes a variety of sweet crepes such as Nutella, fresh fruit and ice cream as well as savory options like ham, cheese and eggs. As for our tea selection, we have a wide range of teas to choose from, including black, green, oolong, and white teas, as well as a number of herbal teas. Our tea menu is curated to offer our customers a diverse range of options to pair with their crepes. Our tea leaves are sourced from the finest tea gardens around the world and are carefully selected to provide our customers with the freshest, most flavorful teas possible. From delicate white teas to robust black teas and aromatic herbal blends, our tea connoisseurs have carefully curated a menu that showcases the finest quality leaves.

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience that combines delicious crepes with a wide variety of teas, then Crepes & Teatime is the place for you. We have had the opportunities of opening up restaurants with other locations that provided us with great experiences and has helped us grow. We started the entire expanding process about 6 years ago with a seasonal food truck in Springfield and Westfield.

Through the food truck, we were able to get our name out to cities other than West Springfield. We had a stationary place in Enfield and Holyoke Mall, which was great, but we did not want to depend only on the customers of the shopping mall. At “Crepes Tea House,” we believe in providing a memorable experience beyond just great food. Our attentive and friendly staff are always ready to assist you, guiding you through our menu and offering recommendations based on your preferences. We take pride in creating a cozy haven where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and simply enjoy the pleasures of good food and tea.

To ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability, in 2015 Family House commenced a strategic business planning process to address rising operating costs and to ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability. Among the outcomes of the five-year planning process, cost-cutting measures were undertaken, including the closure of Family House McKee. Family House started as a single location, then expanded over time to include multiple facilities across the city to serve a growing base of patients and their families. We then consolidated to one, multi-functional location in July of 2022. Today, thanks to the generosity of donors and under the roof of one dedicated facility, Family House is a place where our guests are able to find the rest, comfort, and support that can positively impact their health journey.

By offering safe, convenient, affordable housing and a network of support, comfort, and compassion, Family House reduces emotional and financial stress for people dealing with medical crises in a city where they are strangers. Located within close proximity to area hospitals, Family House offers the comforts of home and convenience to loved ones at affordable rates. Whether here for cancer treatments, trauma care, or transplants, our services give families the peace-of-mind to focus on the care of those closest to them.

Courtesy shuttles operate regularly throughout the day and evening. When you arrive at Family House, a staff member or volunteer will give you an updated shuttle schedule. Throughout the year, dozens of volunteer groups come to Family House to prepare and serve dinners for guests. Yes, all patients staying at Family House must have a caregiver who is a person age 18 or over. This person is solely responsible for the patient with whom they are staying. They must be emotionally and physically able to care for the patient and themselves, and they must be able to assist in possible decision-making. Multiple caregivers are permitted as long as there is not a lapse in patient support.

Families and their loved ones facing life-threatening illnesses were welcomed to Family House by a crew of compassionate staff and volunteers to live and cook their own meals in specially designed shared kitchens and dining areas. All could recover and recuperate in comfortable surroundings for as little as $15 per night, or even less for those unable to pay. Every family became a member of all the families at Family House supported by staff and volunteers who saw their work not as a job but as deep, meaningful purpose. Within weeks of opening, the 39 rooms of Family House McKee were constantly filled, with an ever-growing waiting list. In 1985, Family House became a separate 501c3 charitable organization guided by a devoted Board of healthcare and community leaders, and hundreds of volunteers and staff. Among the handful of Family House founders was Howard “Hoddy” Hanna III.

The Pittsburgh-based realtor, a community and business leader, helped identify and acquire Family House’s second property on Neville Street.
